How to: Fix LG G3 lagging issue and make it faster and works on almost all variants

After playing with your new LG G3 for a couple of days, you might experience annoying lag, you will feel it when opening an app, switching between apps or playing a huge game, everything feels a bit slower. This condition could make you shocked, how can a smartphone with greatest specs at the moment experiencing lagging problems. How to: Fix LG G3 lagging problem and make it run smoother

This mod already tested on Internaltional models, but should work for other models too, like AT&T (D850), T-Mobile (D851) and Sprint (LS990). The Verizon variant isn’t supported yet as the hidden menu does not work on this smartphone.
Here is a guide to make your phone lag-free by simply using the hidden menu to turn on a hidden feature.

  1. Open the dial pad, then type the following number, choose one code that matches with your device model:
    – 3845#*855# (Intl)
    – 3845#*851# (TMo)
    – 3845#*850# (AT&T)
    – 5689#*980# (Sprint)
  2. A hidden menu will be showing up, scroll down till you find “High Temperature Property”.
  3. Tap it, then turn it ON.
  4. Now switch off your phone, and wait for about 15 seconds.
  5. Next, turn it on again, when you see screen lock, wait at least 35 seconds.
  6. Enjoy your lag-free LG G3.

    Don’t do this. I had this options set ON but my device keeps overhitting and was unstable. I just leave it standard on OFF and everything is just fine.

    Can this be done to a Canadian LG G3? I’m with Rogers but none of the above codes work…

    Pay attention to others post!! Do not do this period!! It will cause your phone to over heat and act up.. “Do not fix something that is not broken”!
