Motorola and Verizon provide 32/64 GB (internal storage) version of Droid 2 Turbo. Huge storage capacity lets you store more contents, but you also have to pay more for this. The storage capacity is certainly not the actual capacity that you will get, since it is also used to store the Android OS, and also the Droid Turbo 2 bloatware apps.
As you may know, when you buy a brand new device, you will find pre-installed apps. The number of apps will be increased when you buy a carrier-branded device like this phone. Many users state that some bloatware apps that installed on the Droid Turbo 2 is not useful for them and it will only make the app drawer looks cluttered, because there are too many app icons.
Besides using a lot of internal storage space, some bloatware apps even continue to run, although we’re not open it, this is because the app running in the background. It could impact the overall phone performance, since background apps will use the phone’s CPU and RAM resources, which could also impact to battery life.
Not all Droid Turbo 2 bloatware apps are not helpful, there are some apps that we think you still need, such as the My Verizon Mobile, which useful to monitor your service usage (data, minutes and messages), it is also helpful to change the Verizon plans, add features, pay your bills and more.
We can easily uninstall these bloatware, however, there are some apps that installed into the system and cannot be removed unless you have root access. Although we cannot completely get rid of it, at least we can disable it, so you never notice it again in the app drawer. Disable an app also will stop its background process so that you can save the phone resource:
Here’s the basic way to disable bloatware apps:
