Get the latest LG G5 Drivers for Windows and Mac OS X

Are you going to move some of your content like videos, pictures, documents from your G5 to the computer. Then the easiest way is to use a USB cable that plugged into the computer’s USB port. This is the old-fashioned way, since today we could transferring contents wirelessly, but some end-users still use this method as it’s familiar and they can not use any other method. However, to make the device recognizable, you need a LG G5 USB drivers installed on your machine, whether it’s Windows or Mac computer.

Another reason why some people still need a drivers are to mod it, as we know, some of the Android development tools to gain root access and unlock the bootloader require a computer with ADB and fastboot drivers installed, it can be done when the USB drivers for LG G5 has been properly installed.

There are several ways to get the drivers, you can download the LG PC Suite App which is a desktop application that will help you manage your device’s contents on your PC, sync contacts and calendar, even to upgrade the firmware when available. However, we have no idea whether this desktop applications has support all new released LG devices.

Another way is to download a standalone driver installer, so you will only install the required driver, not the others. It’s easy and straightforward setup, as the file size is small. You can compare with PC Suite which has a larger file size since it has some additional features, which we do not really need.

Just bought the G5 and using it with a 2013 Macbook Pro. Definintely no connectivity between the two as far as file sharing goes.
I’ve been able to switch the usb mode to Photo sharing, which worked, but again, file sharing did not. Android File Transfer therefor did not recognize the phone on my computer. Anyone have any suggestions?
Already updated the phone and computer, restarted numerous times, and no resolution…
