Just like another Samsung phones, we also need a stock firmware when we want to return our Galaxy Note 2 to stock condition. Undoubtedly, stock ROMs/firmwares is unique on every phone models/variants, so you do not ever think to cross flashing, as it will make your phone bricked.
You can observe your phone “Model number” on Settings -> About device, and then download the appropriate firmware file for your Galaxy Note II unique model numbers.
Most of the Galaxy Note 2 stock firmware that available so far come with Jelly Bean OS (Android 4.1.1), only a few devices are loaded with Android 4.1.2 which is usually a leaked firmware or Unofficially released by Samsung. But if you flash the firmware for warranty purpose, make sure to flash the official one.
