Download CM13 Gapps / Android 6.0 Marshmallow Google Apps

Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been rolled out to several Nexus devices, not just that, the source code is also has been uploaded to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Now can see many ported AOSP ROM floating around for specific devices. In addition, the most popular aftermarket firmware – CyanogenMod already began to build the CM13.0 ROM. We can expect to be able to download the experimental or even nightly build for your device in the next few weeks or months.

Custom ROMs like CyanogenMod, Slimroms or other ROM based on AOSP shouldn’t bundled with Google apps (Gapps), this does not take place in Marshmallow, but also on KitKat, Lollipop and earlier Android version. So you will not be able to find Google Play Store, GMail, or any other Google’s apps installed after installing the Android 6.0 ROM. Due to licensing, the Gapps must be installed separately after you have successfully installed the ROM.

Although optional, in other words, you still can run your device without Google Apps installed. For the vast majority of Android users, the presence of Gapps on CM13 or other AOSP ROMs are mandatory. The main reason is to install the Google Play Store, the most complete Android app store, nothing can beat a collection owned by this app store, you can download more than 1 Million free and paid apps or games.
