The LG Optimus L90 for T-Mobile (D415) has been officially released over a year ago, even though it’S a mid-range device, but this device has a lot of interest, because it comes with good hardware specs and offered at a reasonable price. To increase the phone performance and provide better user experiences, LG also provide it with Lollipop (Android 5.0.2) update recently, although not the latest one.
Until now, no one knows when T-Mobile LG Optimus L90 will get the Android 5.1 update, we think the possibility to get official updates is too small. Due to the fact that this device was discontinued after it was released over a year ago, and this device is also not a flagship phone which received much attention from its manufacturer – LG.
The best way to experience the most recent Lollipop update is to install a custom Android 5.1 ROM for the T-Mobile LG Optimus L90. We are still lucky, because there are still some developers who desire to set aside his spare time to build a working custom ROM which is mostly based on AOSP like CyanogenMod (CM12.1).
